As part of the technician training at BBS1 Mainz, our team has been working on the development and implementation of the final project for over six months. On the following pages you will find some information about us and the project.

 

Logicore will be the further development of the BBS-Systemlager, which was launched by the previous project group 23/24 to simplify and partially automate warehouse management in the school material and tool warehouse. Students can use the terminal to search for tools or similar items using keywords. The system displays the storage location in the output window and switches on an LED strip above the respective cabinet, so the user can quickly and reliably find the item they are looking for.


Our Goals

 

The goals primarily include protecting the system with an account system. This system should give students the opportunity to search for, store and store materials/tools via Logicore. Login should be possible via the existing school account. Another goal is the ability to unlock the system using RFID chips that can be written to and read on site. In addition, the optical guidance system should be extended to the inside of the cabinet in places so that when a search is carried out, not only the correct cabinet but also the correct compartment lights up.
